Jill Schoonjans Backing Vocals
|
Jill's experience includes touring Germany with a Pink Floyd tribute show, and backing singer for Joe Longthorne on UK tours, summer seasons and recording projects since 2004 . She has also performed on cruise ships, in function bands, rock bands, Abba tribute
shows and children's theatre productions! Jill fronts 'The Well Swung Big Band Project' and has even performed with the Halle Orchestra. Along with Fiona Ford she adds that authentic and soulful 'Sweet Inspirations' vocal style to Lee Memphis King's
performances.

Fiona Ford Backing Vocals
|
Fiona started out with Pink Floyd tribute “Pulse” with whom
she toured the UK and Switzerland. She has also toured extensively in
Germany. Fiona has guested on film soundtracks for the composer Rob Gould, for
which she gained recognition by the Classic Rock Society. She has provided
backing vocals for Joe Longthorne including a show at The London Palladium. Fiona has
fronted several rock, folk-rock and soul bands and writes her own material. She
shares the responsibilities with Jill in backing Lee and adding the gospel feel
to parts of his show.

Matt Platt Keyboards
|
Matt started learning the Cello at the age of seven,
inspired by his mother Gillian. Since obtaining a music degree in 1985, Matt has been fortunate enough to enjoy a full and varied life as a musician, having played with artists from Supergrass to country legend Albert Lee and blues maestro Bernie Marsden (of Whitesnake fame). He is equally at home with rock ' n' roll boogie piano as heard in early Elvis recordings or adding sophisticated keyboard sounds to the Vegas Presley style arrangements

Steve Vellacott
Lead Guitar
| Steve is an in demand session player known for his country and jazz styles.
He studied with renowned jazz guitarist Mark Wingfield, and has many years
of studio, stage and radio experience. Steve adds the early years' guitar
sounds of Scotty Moore, and James Burton's - 'The Telecaster King' finger
picking guitar style essential to many of Elvis's later arrangements

Phil Gregory Rhythm Guitar
|
Phil is a multi-instrumentalist and a published songwriter and composer. He has written for the likes of Atomic Kitten and Daniel
Ryan and also co-owns Jellymould Music Productions,
writing for film, TV and theatre. He has performed with artists including Kiki Dee, Jackie Graham, Gwen Dickey (Rose Royce), China Black and Viola Wills. He is
also lead vocalist with the band 'Hallé Rock’.

Robin Shaw Bass
| Robin Shaw was a founder member of 70's band The Flower Pot Men and subsequently with the chart topping White Plains and he played with Roger Hills in that band which had no less than 5 UK top 20 singles and two in the USA. Rob co-wrote much of their material and is a huge talent. He provides the foundation of the Lee Memphis King rhythm section and doubles
on additional backing vocals.

Roger Hills Drums
| Roger Hills also was a founder member of The Flowerpot Men and White Plains and so you can see the association between him and Robin Shaw (see above) goes back almost 40 years! Whether playing DJ Fontana style from Elvis's early recordings or the powerhouse Ronnie Tutt style from Elvis's 70's band, Roger provides the heartbeat of the rhythm section and adds to the accuracy
of the stunning recreation of Elvis's music that Lee portrays. Roger normally plays on a Ronnie Tutt Style Blue Sparkle Ludwig Drum Set.

The Brass Monkeys
|
Led by Manchester trombonist/ arranger Joe Stevenson, The Brass Monkeys are all session musicians with a high pedigree, having played with some of the UK's finest bands and artists. They add the punch and drama to Lee Memphis King's performances at larger venues in the style of Elvis's own horn section.

John Hessenthaler Concert Promoter
| John Hessenthaler has been a promoter and event organiser of major concerts for around 30 years and presented international artists including AC/DC and The Sex Pistols in the late 70’s through to more recently Sir Elton John, Tom Jones, Westlife, Busted and many more along with major brand tribute shows in venues and festivals around the UK. He continues to promote the 'Merry Xmas Everybody'
Tour featuring the legendary band Slade, now in its 15th year. 2007 European tours promoted by John included Barclay James Harvest, The Four Tops, Russell Watson, Rick Wakeman and Phil Jupitus and The Blockheads to mention but a few ! His expertise ensures the continuing success of Lee 'Memphis' King's ongoing touring schedule.

Prima Artists was established in 1996 by husband and wife team Tony and Joan MacDonnell. Tony's career, before becoming an agent, was in music and he was the first drummer to graduate from The Jazz and Popular Music course at Leeds College of Music. He went on to play with hosts of major UK artists such as Matt
Monro, Cilla Black and PJ Proby and has performed in over 100 theatre shows and on Radio and TV. He grew
up as a fan of Elvis and saw many of the King's movies as a child. Joan's background is in theatre costume and she worked on many major shows including the West End productions of 'Starlight Express', 'Beauty and The Beast' and ' Whistle Down the Wind' as well as the national tour of 'Buddy'.
